8th Grade Hour of Code Day
You will need to begin by making a choice! It is fine to change your choice as the period progresses!
Choice A: Sphero: There are a lot of choices on the linked page for what you can do with your Sphero. You will need a Chromebook for this activity and you will need to download the app Sphero EDU from the Chrome Web Store.
Choice B: Regular web based Hour of Code activities from below (go to bottom of page) or on the 6th and 7th grade page.
Choice C: Explore the Circuit Playground Express. See me for a CPX and a wire then use this page to make a prank to annoy your classmates (and me)! https://www.electromaker.io/tutorial/blog/taking-your-first-steps-with-the-adafruit-circuit-playground-express Or play with it and figure out what you can do!
Choice D: Explore the Micro:bit (I only have 1). See me for a Microbit and follow this tutorial: https://kidscodejeunesse.org/data/support_material/hour_of_code/2019/KCJ_HoC_MerryMicrobits_Project_2019.pdf
Or play with it and figure out what you can do!
Choice E: Go old school and code on paper! On the center table are some packets from Code Monkey. Answer the questions and color the paper!!
